Malena Argumedes, Ph. D., ps. éd.

Malena is a professor in the department of Psychoéducation of the Université Sherbrooke since December 2016. She is also the treasurer of the Québec Association for Behavior Analysis. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the Université de Montréal and she is a licensed psychoeducator.

Her research interests include problematic behavior of children and adolescents with intellectual disability (ID) and/or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Malena promotes interventions based on positive behavioural support. Her goal is to improve to quality of life of her patients and their families. She is also interested by the development of research-based practices that aim to improve the quality of life of aging individuals affected by a developmental disorder or living with cognitive impairments.
